CANCELLATION POLICY
Be aware of cancellation and rescheduling policies. At Simple Wellness we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. This means if you need to change your appointment for any reason we require 24 hour notice so that we have ample time to fill that vacancy. If less than 24hours is given we do require full payment for the amount of service scheduled.

BE A FEW MINUTES EARLY
Arriving a few minutes early will allow time for you to talk to your massage therapist about your goals and needs for massage therapy, a few minutes talking about your health history, which is important when preparing to receive a massage. If you are feeling ill it might be best to reschedule your appointment.

THE TABLE
Your massage therapist should explain the process on how to address the table. You will be asked to undress to your comfort level. Massage work is typically most effective when the therapist is able to make direct contact with the skin. About 50% of people who get massage take off all their clothing and about 50% leave just their underwear on. If you have issues about removing clothing please discuss this with your massage therapist to come up with a solution. There are some Massage techniques that can be applied through clothing and we want you to be comfortable for your massage.

COMMUNICATION AND FEEDBACK ARE IMPORTANT
You will start your massage either face up or face down. Our Massage Therapists are trained to keep you draped and only uncover the part of the body they are working on. Our therapists will also check in with you on comfort level, temperature and pressure. Remember that communication is very important, at any time if you need any adjustments or alterations please ask your therapist. We want to do our best to create a great experience, and your input is crucial for this. You know your body better than anyone, and by communicating with your therapist, you will have the most beneficial experience possible.

AFTER YOUR MASSAGE
Regular massage works best. Your massage therapist will recommend a plan based on your goals. They will also suggest ways to help keep your feeling well, such as recommending stretches for a particular muscle group or some body awareness exercises to help with posture. Regular massage is going to help with ease, range and quality of movement, that is why is it best to schedule your next massage before leaving.
